You can watch the concert below if you missed it (or if you’re sad because Christmas is over and/or you want to watch it again!).

Join me in my living room from yours, live via the power of the internet,

for a few Christmas-inspired tunes and stories on Christmas Eve

‘Coorie in’ is a Scots word for cosy up/snuggle down.

If you watched my last Facebook Live event on Valentine’s Day, you’ll have a fair idea of what to expect.

(If you didn’t, don’t worry, it’s easy to watch and to take part if you’d like to, and you don’t even have to leave the house!)

Christmas can be a funny old time but I hope you’ll join me for a few tunes and stories. I’ve struggled with epic levels of isolation and loneliness in the past, and I’m hoping this event will be a good a way to gather people together and share some chat and some music. There will be a couple of special guests too.

This is a live event which is easily accessible via Facebook. It will be free to watch.

You don’t need a Facebook account to watch it, and you don’t even have to watch it live, because Facebook will save it afterwards as a post which you can watch whenever you like. I’ll add some instructions re. how to access the event nearer the time, but in the meantime you can Like my Facebook page here.

There are no real rules, but here is some guidance:

  • Pyjama wearing is not compulsory but it is encouraged.

  • If you’d like to, you could also wear anything you’d normally save for best (and which therefore likely never or rarely gets worn). Shoes in particular. All will become clear on the night.

  • The event is interactive (if you’d like to join in) and there will be a special guest to be revealed on the night. (Actually thinking about it, there will be 2…)

  • The event will last about 45 minutes and you can join in/drop out as you need to.

  • This will not be a serious classical performance

Here’s what some of my audience said after my Valentine’s Live concert….

This was a wonderful way to spend an hour this Valentine’s Day.
Great stories, beautiful music, such fun, thank you for doing this, Katherine.
Loved hearing your piece about meeting Tenderheart Bear!
Lovely show all around!
Couldn’t listen last night on account of the 4 hour time difference and now having the surreal experience of listening to you in the mountains in Oman.
Perfect calming end to a long hot day of book research!
My first live concert on FB, and it was well worth it!
Thanks for keeping me company, Katherine, on Valentine’s Day, which normally sucks big time! I’d forgotten how lovely the harp is, very much enjoyed it, good show!
